This year, Bonnaroo turns 10! The official lineup was unveiled today and while I think this isn’t their best lineup to date, it’s pretty damn good when you take a look. Bonnaroo has always featured very diverse artists lineups, making it the premier music festival in the US. Bonnaroo will take place from June 9-12 in Manchester, TN

I have always wanted to make it to Bonnaroo, but still have yet to make the trip to Coffee County. Some of the bands on the lineup that peak my interest are The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket (epic performance guaranteed), Buffalo Springfield, Robert Plant & Band of Joy, Iron & Wine, Girl Talk & Explosions in the Sky.

The Super Jam will make it’s triumphant return to Bonnaroo this year. The following artists have been confirmed for the Super Jam:

  • Dr. John and The Original Meters performing Desitively Bonnaroo
  • SuperJam with Dan Auerbach and Dr. John
  • Global Gypsy Punk Revue curated by Eugene Hütz

I was born, raised and currently reside in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. I founded Scents and Subtle Sounds on August 18, 2009 after deciding I needed an avenue to share my passion for music. I saw my first concert in 1994 and hundreds of shows later (and counting), live music still does IT for me.
