On Saturday, April 14, in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Phish Food, Jon Fishman will join forces with the Waterwheel Foundation and Ben & Jerry’s to lead the worlds largest cowbell ensemble. The monies raised will go to WaterWheel Foundation’s Vermont Flood Recovery Fund. Registration is currently open and will close on April 9. You can you register here.

From Phish.com:

Monies raised from the event will go to the WaterWheel Foundation’s Vermont Flood Recovery Fund to help sustain ongoing efforts to restore Vermont communities after Hurricane Irene’s devastation. Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation, a non-profit organization that serves to oversee the band’s charitable activities, will coordinate the effort. Free scoops of Phish Food will be served from the Ben & Jerry’s scoop truck for the duration of the event.

Those looking to attend need to register before the event. Registration includes a t-shirt and cowbell ($25 for adults, $12 for kids). A premium level will include a t-shirt, a premium cowbell, a ticket for entry into the Nectar’s after party where Phish will preview their newly pressed vinyl version of “Junta” and 1 ticket to the WaterWheel raffle at Nectar’s ($50 for adults).
