
Sigur Rós will kick off a world tour in support of their new album, Valtari on July 30 in Philadelphia. The four piece Icelandic band will grow to 11 on this tour, which will feature a mixture of festival and headlining performances. The band has two shows at Lollapalooza and I am holding out hope that one of those is a Lolla aftershow, but we will have to wait. Sigur Rós will release Valtari on May 28.
These shows are in addition to the previously announced shows in Japan, France, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Poland and England. More shows will be announced. You can check out the North American shows below as well as the video for ”Ekki Múkk” below.
