FINALLY!!!!!!!
Wilco has begun “a little experiment” by selling high quality downloads of two shows from their current summer tour through their website. The band is offering their June 23 show from Red Rocks and their July 8 show from Fifth Third Bank Ballpark in Geneva, Illinois. The downloads are available in three different formats: MP3 ($9), ALAC ($12) and FLAC ($12). The band plans to release more shows in the near future.
This has been a dream for many Wilco fans (myself included) and it’s nice to see the band is finally warming up to the idea. It would be also cool if they could dig into the archives and release some older shows.
