Robert Wayne Birch, bassist for Elton John has died from an apparent suicide. His body was found yesterday morning near his California home. Birch has been performing with Elton John since 1992 and has performed live and recored with the likes of Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Phil Collins, Stevie Wonder and many more.
