On Saturday night in Minneapolis, David Byrne and St. Vincent will kick off their highly anticipated North American tour at the State Theatre in Minneapolis. They will be touring with a 12-piece band behind their recently released collaboration, Love This Giant. Their North American tour will see him hit most major marks and will close on October 20 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Their collaboration will spill into 2013 as they will plays shows in Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania, yes Tasmania. It’s not that often that bands play Tasmania, but leave to these two to play the “Island of Inspiration.” Check out the tour dates after the break.
