Last night, Wilco‘s West Coast tour rolled into Berkeley for the first of six shows in the Golden State. The show was heavy on material from The Whole Love, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and A Ghost is Born, but also featured some deep cuts as Jeff likes to call them. They also continued their string up unplugged versions of “Spiders(Kidsmoke)”. I’m not quite sure why they have abandoned the electric version, but rest assured if and when it returns, it will be met with open arms.
According to a post on Via Chicago, during “Hoodoo Voodoo”, Wilco crew member Josh came out for his customary cowbell cameo, but instead of him coming out shirtless, Jeff Tweedy went up to him and started un buttoning the shirt himself. Wilco will return to the Greek tonight. Read on for the setlist.
