They may or may not be breaking up, but Bon Iver is moving forward. The band, led by Justin Vernon has released a video for “Beth/Rest”, the fourth single from their Grammy award winning album, Bon Iver, Bon Iver. The video was filmed around Vernon’s April Base studio.
The video is based on a treatment written by Justin Vernon that described people made of light living in a dream-like world that encapsulates their being. Justin said, “It’s kind of about two people who are truly meant for each other and what happens to their essence. How they connect is some other thing that we don’t know how to really talk about.”
Justin Vernon took to his twitter account this morning to describe his experience making the video.
