Phish will kick off their 2015 summer tour on Tuesday, July 21 with a pair of sold out shows at Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, OR. The band will offer a webcast of both nights via LivePhish.com. A pre-order is currently underway.
One June 16, Phish will rollout another archival release with the release of Amsterdam, an eight-CD box set highlighting the bands three performances at the legendary Paradiso in 1997. Phish made their debut at Paradiso on February 17, 1997 with a cover of Bob Marley’s “Soul Shakedown Party.”
Classically trained pianist Holly Bowling will release Distillation of a Dream, an album of Phish originals and jams. Bowling gained notoriety by transcribing the now legendary “Tahoe Tweezer” on piano. Having attended close to 300 shows, Bowling wanted to blend her love of piano with the music of Phish.
Phish bassist Mike Gordon will take his five-piece solo band on the road this June. The 16 date tour will kick off on June 5 in Charleston, SC and concludes on June 28 in Philadelphia, PA.
